Alberto Bramati is Full Professor at Sorbonne Université and a member of the Laboratoire Kastler Brossel (Sorbonne Université, École Normale Supérieure and CNRS).

Research fields. Laser physics, atomic physics and spectroscopy, ultrafast nonlinear optics, soliton formation, quantum optics, generation of non-classical light and squeezed states, nano-photonics, single-photon sources, semiconductor nanocrystals, quantum dots, exciton-polariton physics and polariton quantum fluids.
Scientific production. More than 100 publications in international peer-reviewed journals (including Science, Nature Physics, Nature Photonics, Nature Communications, Optica and 16 PRL), more than 4000 citations (h = 33). Supervision of 13 PhD theses and 9 postdocs; more than 40 invited talks and lectures at international schools.
